AV Software Programming Engineer – 2136

Due to continued expansion , HAS Integration are looking for 1 Qualified and experienced Audio Visual Software Programming Engineer to join our team in Ireland. This is a full time, permanent position based out of our 37 Glenrock Business Park, Galway, H91 HW18 office . Start ASAP.

39 hrs/wk
min €45,000/annum

Duties include, but are not limited to:

examining existing software and determining requirements for new/modified systems in light of business needs;
undertaking feasibility study to design software solutions;
writing and coding individual programs according to specifications;
developing user interfaces;
testing and correcting software programs
implementing and evaluating the software
writing operational documentation and providing subsequent support and training for users.

Candidates will be required to

Oversee the process from input to completion
Manage supplies and deadlines
Able to speak to engineers and customers alike.
Have an understanding of audio DSP units, basic IP networking
Have a thorough understanding of systems integration techniques (Integration via IP protocols, Serial, ZigBee or IR)
Have system knowledge but not critical of Crestron, Lutron, Control 4,

Candidates must have

Degree or equivalent qualification, and/or significant relevant experience
Minimum 3years experience
Full drivers license
Excellent client-facing skills
