Administration Support officer

The Position
The Administration and Communication Support Officer’s role is part of the SICAP Programme 2018-2023. The position offers the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly motivated SICAP team, working with individuals and groups in local communities. As a team member, the candidate can use their skills to help individuals, communities and community projects that will make a real difference in people’s lives.

The Role
The Administration and Communication Support Officer will provide day-to-day support for the delivery and communication of programme supports. Based in the MID Castleblayney Office, the Jobholder will report to MIDs CEO and Board. The duties of the Administration and Communication Support Officer will include:

• They will be the first point of contact for dealing with customer enquiries at head office and represent the company and its services in an effective manner.
• Provide one-to-one information and guidance in relation to all supports, initiatives and services provided by Monaghan Integrated Development (MID) along with general information and signposting to customers calling in person and by telephone and e-mail.
• Coordinate MID’s social media and communications, maintain and keep up to date social media channels as key communication tools.
• Provide administrative support to Management and Staff to include organisation of documentation procurement and filing.
• Coordinate events ( Meetings, Information events, Seminars etc )
• Assist in the Advertising and Recruitment process
• Liaise with IT support Company in relation to resolving ICT issues

Interviews for this position will be competency based and shortlisting will apply on the basis of the information provided in the application form.
