Professional Rigid Truck Driver

The aim of Bounce Back Recycling is to divert bulky waste from landfill through recycling and upcycling activities.
Main responsibility and activities of operatives:
• Collecting, loading & unloading bulky waste items from household & commercial customers across Republic of Ireland
• Disassembling mattresses/furniture and loading separated materials
• Completing daily work-record forms and job-assignment sheets
• Conducting work safely
• Keeping vehicles clean and tidy at all times
• Participating in relevant training
• Recycling of waste materials
• Completing other duties as required to deliver the service.

Hours of work: Full-time/Part-time hours available (To be confirmed with successful candidate).
The successful applicant will be required to work as part of a team and must have following:
• Must have experience driving trucks, full clean “C” Driving licence, all CPC certs and
Driver Tachograph Card
• Must have a good knowledge of city and county road networks and familiarity with area within the province
• This is a physically demanding role as heavy lifting is involved as part of routine work
• A good standard of education and training (formal and informal)
• Relevant work experience and evidence of commitment to hard work and to take direction
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• An understanding of the Traveller economy and work
• An understanding of Traveller issues and cultural diversity
• A commitment to work out of an anti-racist and equality work perspective.
