Community Assistant Supervisor

Assist the CE Supervisor in the recruitment of new participants
Assist in maintaining efficient and effective administrative and financial functions
Maintaining accurate training records
Assist the CE Supervisor in supporting, monitoring and evaluating the training needs of participants and accessing appropriate programmes
Preparing payroll claims through the application for wages and supervision sheet system (AWS)
Liaising with the Department of Employment and Social Protection (DEASP) and Killinarden Parish Community Enhancement relation to all aspects of the programme management
Engage in own training and development as decided by Killinarden Parish Community Enhancement /or DEASP
The role requires weekend and evening hours
Hours of work: 39 hours per week
The successful candidate will ideally: Demonstrate experience in training and development
Have excellent administrative and organisational skills
Have knowledge and experience of work IT systems
Have excellent computer skills across a range of programmes, e.g. Microsoft Office
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Have the ability to be flexible and work as part of a team and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Have the ability to demonstrate empathy when supporting participants
A Full clean driving licence and the use of own car is essential

Salary will be in accordance with the DEASP Community Employment Supervisor scale starting at Point 1
The position is a fixed term contract for a maximum of one year and is contingent on continued DEASP funding
Desirable: Knowledge of and/or a recognised qualification in the Security Sector
