BIM Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
BIM Implementation: Lead the implementation and integration of BIM processes, software, and technologies within the organization or project team.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to develop and maintain BIM project standards, protocols, and workflows.
Model Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and coordination of 3D models, drawings, and other BIM-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements.
Clash Detection and Coordination: Utilize BIM software (Navisworks manage) to identify clashes and conflicts between various building systems and resolve them through effective coordination and collaboration with the project team.
Quality Control: Conduct regular reviews of BIM models and drawings to ensure compliance with project standards, specifications, and best practices.
BIM Training and Support: Provide training and support to project team members on BIM software tools, processes, and standards to ensure their effective utilization and adoption.
Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate effective communication and coordination between different project stakeholders through BIM platforms, meetings, and discussions.
BIM Standards Development: Develop and maintain BIM standards, guidelines, and best practices to enhance the organization’s BIM capabilities and improve project outcomes.
Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, trends, and industry advancements and propose innovative solutions to improve project delivery and efficiency.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in BIM workflows, processes, and technologies and implement changes to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualification in BIM or a related field.
Strong knowledge and experience with BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks.
Familiarity with BIM-related standards and protocols (e.g., IFC, COBie, BIM Execution Plan).
Proficiency in clash detection and coordination processes using BIM software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Prior experience in BIM coordination or related roles is preferred.
Professional certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are a plus.

SALARY RANGE – €30-€45K (Depending on experience BIM Technician, BIM Coordinator, BIM Manager)
